Just read through it Edward and you have hit the nail on the head with an exact review of what the book is about for the visitor, rather than as you say for the studious amongst the population, but of course it was deliberate for that very reason alone.

I wrote it and I say it myself, it is unique, and there isn't anything else available remotely like it at the present time.

Thanks Edward I appreciate your input.

It was a very interesting read, Ron. I have visited Oxford many times and thought I had covered most of it, but there were things in your book I didn't know about.  Good luck with selling your book !

Ruth, out of curiousity I checked on Amazon to look at your review, having already submitted one on the UK site, but it appears on the .com (American site) and not the .co.uk (UK site). It seems that the two sites are not linked for reviews. Not sure if you realised this.

I thought Amazon applied it to both sites Edward, not sure now though. Will watch it, but that said the 'Brits' generally have little or no interest in C S Lewis and so it seems if there was a 'better' site for it to be posted to, then it would be the .com site as Ruth has done, for our friends across the pond.

The UK and US Amazon sites do not appear to link the reviews.

I have not tried uploading my UK review to the US site. In principle, if my UK log-in works on the US site, it should be possible to copy and paste the same review on to both sites. Maybe I will give it a try later.

I had no idea the two sites weren't linked Edward. I put my review on the site from the link at the top of the home page of POE, I wondered where your review was. I'll have to have a look at this and make sure it goes onto both sites.
