thanks for the welcome,  sounds like you had a lovely time at the cottage,  and yes there was a certain amount of silliness due to me joining the website, I think Der Boys were being sillier than me but I can do silly too!     the famous Grouse club sounds good but sadly I don't drink.... I know, I know, party pooper! I don't have anything against drinking I just get  rata**sed after a couple of wine gums and am daft enough sober!  the last time I had a whiskey mac I got absolutely smashed so only have a drink every couple of years or if I'm feeling naughty every Christmas!

Welcome Sandie....there is no Club like our men's Grouse Club..that's where they gather to discuss the morbid weather throughout the year...and why they feel bored these days...and Ron's perpetual political thinking sometimes..or his mode of attack coming up on something or someone.  You will get to know me by my exceeding long posts where by I shock them all to pieces somedays.... in something I have to say. For right now,  I'm sending my hubby and eldest grandson to "Scout Camp" for an week, pickin gup my sister thereafter for staying with me for a coupel of days maybe. We are like night and day at times in our differences. will see how things go this year. Hey, you camera buff's..how I post an avatar peeking over the icon of not have one?..smiles*

morning all,  and thank you SK for your welcome,  the lovely sun has gone boo hoo,  but I've been looking at some of the photo's and they're fabulous!,  my goodness your equipment must be amazing... (I can hear you sniggering Ron!!) my little canon IXUS 50 obviously isn't up to the job,  and so saying it's literally this second decided to pack up!  gutted!  :0(

thanks for the welcome,  It was working fine day before yesterday and now its kaput!  I'll take it down the camera shop in the week and see what they say, might be time for a new one,  mind you the phone takes a good enough picture for what I want really!

With any luck the reason we haven't heard from Sandie for a few days is because the 'Camera Shop' door slammed firmly behind her!

I bet she's giving them a right going over! lol
