Kind of like the old saying that the pasture always looks greener on the other side of the fence perhaps.. Also that it seldom is... if you really know the circumstances involved. We can't solve problems until we understand what an quality life is to begin with. I will dea with thisl in my next chapter of my book..and .what our ancestors seemed to think it was though....all around the world through the ages. as funny as the joke is above...here pretty soon to stand in waste waist high...all one will have to do is perhaps go to an famrer's field as they now use human sludge and give e-coli in the process...as to the torture in the screaming...we have that also now...drugs/hospitals/gang warfare on the streets.child abuse and rape, prostitution and exploitation....and as to it being hot as the blazes....we have global warning and if the grid goes out..no air conditioning and you can't get much hotter these days then Texas, Arizonia, New Mexico and Nevada some days. Though the middle eastern countries have always had this heat factor. So I fyou don' twant Lucifer's world, one should understand what is needed as God has instructed us...to NOT add to it on our own by how we do things on our planet. Don' t you kin dof think those spouting the world's distruction is at hand is also NOT following God by concept but that of Lucifer also...ins this not what he is about...all the worse life has to offer...and shoving the responisbilty onto others to solve it for him. . |

I still think that despite all the troubles of this kind in Europe and the US, we still have a lot to be thankful for, and we take it for granted to our peril. As for immigrants - I'm not sure what the issues are in the UK, but in the US, people have been sneaking across the border from Latin America for generations, to escape the grinding poverty in their own nations. These people came to do the backbreaking, unskilled jobs that Americans were too good to do - and that the people who hired them were too greedy to pay their fellow Americans a decent living wage to do. We've been looking the other way for decades, and now the consequences have come home to roost. The problem lies in the root cause - the corruption in the source countries. If you could make it at home, would you move to another country for a job cleaning hotel rooms or picking produce in the hot sun all day? You can only guess at how bad it is that someone would do that. But the immigrants today are not blameless either. America is a nation of immigrants, who came here for a better life. But now, when people come here, they want to make the US into the old country, instead of becoming a part of the new. It's fine to want to hold onto and pass along to your kids your cultural heritage, but you also need to honor and respect the nation that accepted you and work hard and try to be a good citizen and not take advantage. So there we are - with another thorny problem caused by the WIFM principle.
