Never used to be like that in the days of Whitechapel when there were as many cops about as public, so what happened? (My grandad and great grandad were cops so maybe biased) I have great admiration for the work done by our Cops who most times are very fair in accessing situations, but paperwork isn't helping anybody! What say you members? |

I think the tests are a good idea. |

I remember in the Saddleworth Villages every village had its own Policeman, that was when children could play out all day and roam round the village till darkness without fear of being molested. If you got into trouble in the village more often than not your parents new what you had been up to before reached home. Its society that is going down the drain the Police have much less powers these days to deal with present day situation. If the respect was there in the first instance for the Police then we would not require as many Police traveling around in cars attending to the trouble maker we have in society.
