The Spanish have now resorted to singling out the UK citizens from the Spanish nationals by saying that they have medical reasons to be let through quickly, this is not going down well with the Brits. 3 Frigates are on the way for scheduled exersises but usually the UK only sends 1 all this has blown up since the Prime Minister has been caught with his pants down by having to explain why he has come about a 350.000 euro back hander, and also the the chief Minister to the Treasurery is on charges of fraud. So you can see whats going on its plain old SUBTIFUGE to bury bad news. Now what will really wind the Spanish up is when the R.A.F do thier excersises they fly in to Gib in pairs abreast and play at touch and take off round and round the Rock the noise is horendous Gibralter was given to the UK over 300 years ago and the islanders want to keep it that way. Have you any comments? Edited by: Neil Rodgers at:9th August 2013 16:42 |

Gibralter belongs to Britain and woe betide anybody who tries to take it from us! The Spanish troops might need to start wearing brown uniforms! lol |

It became a crown colony in 1830 and was listed by the UN in 1946.and in 1969 was stipulated that sovereignty status would not be changed without consent of the Gibralter citizens ---so the spanish legally have no claim to Gibralter as have the Argentinians to the Falklands. |
