Why do banks charge a fee on 'insufficient funds' when they already know there is not enough money in the account? Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, yet ducks if you throw something at him? Why is it that no matter what colour bubble bath you use , the bubbles are always white? Why do we run over a piece of string several times with the hoover, then pick it up, examine it and then put it down again to give the hoover a second chance? Why, when trying to catch something falling off the table do you always knock something else over? Why do you never hear 'father-in-law' jokes? How do Thermos Flasks know to keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot? Whose idea was it put the letter 's' in the word 'lisp'? Why do people believe you when you tell them that are four billion stars, yet have to check whe you say that the paint is still wet? |
