No Ron, but your post reminded me of something silly my mum did a couple of years ago.

Our 4 offspring even though they are in their 20's and 30's always like an Advent calendar. My mum and her friend (both in their 80's) went into town on the bus. When she got back she rang to say that she had got the calendars.

When I called to see her a few days later she gave me the calendars to give to the children. Two had a West Highland Terrier picture on the front the other two had a Rabbit. All four had the little windows to open with the chocolate inside. The penny should have dropped with me at this point that something was not quite right but it didn't.

The girls came to collect there's first. A couple of hours later I got a phone call from Paula our youngest asking where the calendars had come from. They had opened the first little door of each and eaten the contents only to discover that they tasted disgusting. When they checked the back of the packaging they found that it said "Yoghurt coated Rabbit tasty treats on one and chocolate treats for your dog on the other.

Mum had been shopping at Pets at Home Laughing

Grandma is not allowed to shop for Advent calendars any more Smile

Oh yes, definately....they have "Merry Christmas" soup mugs for their present this year, filled with dry crunchies in them and I always give my kid's three dogs their "doggie bones" to munch on.  Plus my birds...they get "honey" stick seed bars. I have an 25 pound bag of wild bird feed with dried corn in it  also for the resident squirrel. Today has been the first time I've seen the outisde critters in an week. I've always treated my animlas as humane I as I could... and esp in freezing weather.
