             Hi John, bit of a delay on the pics I am afraid, went to our local photo dealer to get the slides put on a disc, the guy only wanted about £65 to transfer just over two dozen pics-- I said no thank you.

Getting slides converted commercially is not a cheap job, but £65 for a couple of dozen is a rip-off. I have a scanner that takes slides but they aren't too cheap these days. The purchase of which depends how often you would use one

               Have seen a scanner that just does slides and negs, half the price of what was being asked in the shop and good reviews, so all is not lost and may go down that road.  We have come accross quite a few oldies tucked away needing to see the light of day so it could be a bit of an investment.

                         A teaser, the only clue is the shots are of Cornwall but not what you would expect to see John.
