I'm sure that thier presence will have made it an special day for the furture generation to see for the newly made memories. Princess Kate was in an blue dress, but they said she wasn't at the wedding?...kind of confusing, but Pippa showed up or did I get things mixed up. I think they are doing an Royal Album over here but at times don't put down which date the pictures were taken...so they go continuously timewise. Weddings are wonderful days, I've never seen an bad one reguardless of the money spent or not spent..the "love" I guess is what does it. Good friends also. William is looking so "fatherish" these days, but nice to see him smiling...and Harry...some gal said..."He's soooo sexy"...I just had to try to go an see himwhile he was here. sounds like he has an admirer also. I rember when my son was in rehearsal...and the minister said...you may now kiss...andlaw laid an kiss on my son...that had the preacher saying.."Whoa"..in an day or so!....and everyone started laughing. Yes, they are tiriing events also in ways...at least I was, I was due to go an get my hair fixed and never made it. So the pictures made me really look old, my girlfriend commented on it to me, but my every thought was on the kid's wedding back then, not myself. We packed the church also to the brim, but my favorite thing was John...whom rang the bells for us after they kissed...cause this old small historic church was my mother's family name connection. In my day those church bells were never silent like they are so much today. Sunday mornings you could hear them for miles around ringing for church services. thye then honeymoon at the "White Rose" an antique Bed and Breakfast in Portland before heading over to the beach. Sarah's dress was just beautiful with its long train also. They will be coming up on thier 10th wedding anniversary soon and I'm headed for the 49th this coming Febuary. My marriage was an military one, private...because of the Viet nam War. Seems like I serve everyone else's needs in life more so then I ever have my own in ways. I was married for "free" also...an rarity of the day...by the preacher..it wasn't because we didn't pay him, but he gave it back to us and said, he felt that he and "God".. could do this one without an fee attached to it...that serving our country for everyone's freedom was enough payment at the time. As you know "Evis" and my dad had the same maternal lineage also...and my youn gpicture of dad in WWII and Elvis look like twins except dad's hair was blonde and his was black. If you want to know why the family gyerations were so good, it was because they have ankle problems. Even I twist mine from time to time also these days. Well, I have grandsons to head back to their house today, and slept in an bit this morning...so best get going for now. These CME's hitting earth and causing the big quakes woke me up last night and the time before that also. Last night was an 6.7 mag, that they lowered an bit in the Fugi Islands. So I could use an pair of dark sun glasses also, cause "Dave" told us one time to wear them to the lectures and tape it with an small recorder in your pocket and you can relax and be semi-sleeping during it.. of course don't let the teacher catch you...gesh!...... Things like that never seemed to work for me. |

Not a big one, just working in a confined space and lots of getting up and down. At the last look it was still standing even if I did have a bit of an issue with me verticals at one point. I do not reckon on naked garden day, thorns , wildlife and the neighbours would all make it a no no.

I would LOVE to go out and garden naked. My neighbours on the other hand, would NOT love to see me gardening naked; especially now, after my 11th surgery last week, I look a bit like Frankenstien's Bride. HA!

I'm looking at this picture of an 6.0 Thailand quake that hit this morning of an huge crack three cars long and it dropped on one side of the road about to waist high... but very low casualties so far mentioned. Your wall sounds like an project and an half Vincent. I also thought those cinder blocks laid on the side and planted inside with trailing flowers would make an pretty wind break at times...esp purple ones. Cinder blocks don't cost an arm and an leg over here to buy. I'm still wating for the weather to clear up an bit before I continue onward with planting...but am thinking right now if I don't wash some clothes I may be doing everything in the buff...and naked. Reflection of the yard work and painting I've been doing lately. Slow going, but I feel good about the accomplishments made last week. Rest of you POE'rs..... keep things going and I'll be back soon. |
