Everything is taken to the extreme, nowadays.

You dare not say anything, for fear that someone has caught it on their cell phones, or others are taping your personal conversations just so that they can cause mischeif later.

You only have to look at the hoo haa over here in America, concerning the owner of a baseball team, whose private conversation was taped, then sold - probably at a very high price - to the media.

I think its disgusting behaviour.

We do need to be respectful of others, of course, but it has gone beyond the pale.

The BBC should take a good look at themselves with what has recently transpired in the press.

The political correct brigade are a load of inept head feelers who should be placed on the largest rocket possible and fired into space and rid the country of this malignant malaise.

There would be no shortage of people happy to light the blue touch paper!

Hope that does not offend anyone. If it has, I will just go into a dark room and have a very polically correct weep, almost as convincing as a footballer at the end of the season saying goodbye to all the mugs who help to keep his multi millions safe and well topped up.

Sorry to any football supporters I might have offended, or any sensitive dark rooms......or people prone to weeping.

I'm just sorry.

I am sure that the offence taken by the PC brigade is due to a total lack of a sense of humour. I can think of many instances, but it would be non-PC to quote them here, so I agree with Rod, I am just very sorry in case those with a humour bypass get upset.

By the responses here it would seem we are a very politically incorrect bunch. How wonderful!

It is hard to be politically correct when most of us were brought up before this era of correctness and I'm sure we had more fun
