Frankly this is good news for me, but bad news of course for the shareholders, who in my opinion should get out whilst they can! I know ASOS CEO Nick Robertson and major shareholder brother Nigel Robertson of old and say for me this is justice. I can't go into specific details, but my opinion is that this serves them right. I hope ASOS shares fall still further and that ultimately ASOS fails. I further hope that they finally get a taste of what they dealt me a few years back and have said many times, be careful who you tread on; on the way up, because you'll pass them on the way down! It's a hard life isn't it boys; and remember you are not too big to fail. Anybody remember Freddie Laker for example? Grammar School education, entrepreneur, first with a successful business model, bankrupt after 16 years, a similarity for sure....I hope! Apparently, the name ASOS was taken from the saying 'As Seen On Screen'

I was involved with Nick Robertson (and brother Nigel) when he was in the early stages of setting the business up and when he lived on a bar of chocolate purchased from a garage as we travelled enroute to various meetings to discuss what was then a far more important project to me, but a project nonetheless that belonged to me, and for which I owned a patent. I was eventually to lose everything, including my home valued back in 2002/3 at £495k through their greed, they wanted everything. I hope brothers Nick and Nigel Robertson continue to lose money and maybe join the real world, I will never forgive them. |

That said I guess it's possible that they could soon be looking for new jobs. It's being reported that failing ASOS (their shares have dropped dramatically recently) have had a major fire at their warehouse and they have had to take their website down also. Hmmn, do I need to comment further?
