He didn't sound too happy himself on the news, but then again he never does. When did all the fun go out of tennis, bring back Ilie Nastase I say. In fact when did all the fun go out of most sporting events Undecided

Together they would make a good pair of bookends!

Pity his exit didn't trigger the end of Wimbledon altogether.

We're heading out of here first thing in the morning John and won't be back until it's all over. Our road is shut for 18 hours, in fact the whole village is shut for 18 hours. All cars have to be gone off the roads by midnight tomorrow, and are not allowed back until the race organisers say so.

I'm not at all interesting in cycling, I can barely ride one so we're going to the Western side of the Yorkshire Dales out of the way of all the madness. Hopefully to enjoy the lovely peaceful scenery.

Know the feeling Ruth, we have had this lock in more than once as you are aware and with your circumstances at the moment I think you are doing the most sensible thing. The powers that be think it will bring such good things and profit for local traders, the word round this way was that most small businesses ended up losing and not gaining from all the chaos. If you happen to be a cycle addict then I am sure it will be an exciting occassion but for most folk it just means total disruption.

Make the most of it and enjoy your escape.

We are going M62 West, M61 North, M6 North and we miss it at all. Ingleton where we are going is having a 1940's weekend which should be nice, no yellow bikes, great Smile

And at the end of the road Murray had a problem that affected his game it seems!

Perhaps he didn't eat up at breakfast?
