Veteran's Day is what you least forgetting these days...yes, all the thousands and millions whom have given their lives in battle fo rtheir country. It should be an world wide Holiday to honor them, reguardless of what side they fought on...soldiers died for an cause...one they thought was worthy...many against their will probably also. Today's military service is either "high tech" or it's "mind altering" by the chemicals that are being used...whihc leaves on the frindges of annilation in the world...or mentally insane. Things have gone to far.But honor them we do..because they were human beings loved by somone and all.... for the sacrifice they gave...thier life.

As of Tuesday and Wednesday this week we get our first "freeze" in winter temperatures here..Hurricane Nuri went up the west side of Alaska, swirled around and is sending artic air into the middle of the USA, but it's afffecting the whole country also in lower temperatures.Definately first snowfall for the mountains and possibly the mid-western states...soome fo the higher elevations have had some already.

I am making it under the wire nearly on this weather with having finished off my sister's apartment for Christmas Decorations this year, we got her tv fixed, so she has some stations...and I wish all the basic local channels would not require "cable" or the cable companies would honor them for free... for the low (limited) income...of which many are on Social Security alone, or state assistence....people with no pensions or retirement incomes otherwise.  With their fee's they have shoved these people into an world of non-communication most the time. But anyway, sister has clothes for church, coat and warm clothes for outside walking to the store if needs be...decorated Chrimas tree, TV set, and filled small freezer of meat for an while..probably through January at least, so she won't need to much in the way of groceries...she also got an used but different recliner rocker chair to sit in..and two more comforters. So I can now be an 45 minute drive away and not worryif she's "OK" over there. Last I heard she had invited Mary over for an Spaghetti dinner last night.

We took the grandson back to his house and go pick up the grand-daughter later today...they have an extended Holiday from school because of Veteran's day this week. I have myself and my daughter in-law's gift for Christmas and I think I can finish that off this week.

Myself is up-grading my Sony  RadioTransistor/c-d player...and Sarah asked for an nice fleece jacket. I still need the freezers defrosted, but might wait until after this bad weather do, then by this next weekend the Turkey's go on sale and I need some for over Christmas, and New Year's...though we will see how it goes. They said they were raising beef prices this morning...I might get them some steaks for the last time.  They best go into Beef Pot pies coming up instead I think to stay on budget. So think of me as I run around today...getting and make sure I'm ready for the Holidays for everyone, and bad weather...and I talk to you later on.

Good evening everyone....long day of shopping today...but let's hope it's done now.  Im eating dinner with you right now...it's been months on end since I've eaten an regular piece of meat...and I have sausage gravy over it...my dad would like that. I went to replace the radio/CD player and guess what...they no longer have it...I ended up having to buy them each seaparately. I got the radio in an Sonny Walkman, but  not with the CD part of it...that I had to buy separately. So goes, things change I guess.  As long as they work and have good sound to them.

Got the most beautiful Christmas Plate for my daughter in-law today..I haven't' told her about that one as yet. I did tell her about the "ugly Christmas Sweater" contest down in Portland that I found one of those for her..so she could enter it..she just laughed...wait until I take to her. She'll be glad it's all black from the back...but I picked up an dazzling rinestone studded scarf for the already colorful front in black also. rest of the front is very colorful squares of quilt blocks in silk or satin. Right "cheery" and it's sporting an name brand clothier on the tag also. How much ya wanna bet she never is seen in it..hey..whatta wanna bet?.... Laughs* She whom wears solid colors of mudane shades in simplicity...I guess it's better then "flaming" red though come to think of it. Not to many blondes wear such an red color. well, I'm enjoying listening to Christmas music tonight as I was eating...little preview of the days coming ahead I guess. So guess I should go plug into "Solitare" in the card games and relax an bit....

Have yourself an Merry Little Christmas...talk later on.

Hi everyone

Everyone has this magic Bank account read below.

1. Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds -- as a gift of life.
2. And when we go to sleep at night, any remaining time is Not credited to us.
3. What we haven't used up that day is forever lost. ...
4. Yesterday is forever gone.
5. Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account at any time WITHOUT WARNING... SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds?
Those seconds are worth so much more than the same amount in dollars. Think about it and remember to enjoy every second of your life, because time races by so much quicker than you think.
So take care of yourself, be happy, love deeply and enjoy life!
Here's wishing you a wonderful and beautiful day. Start “spending”....
"DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT GROWING OLD…!"
SOME PEOPLE DON'T GET THE PRIVILEGE!

Enjoy your life today.
