Asda and Christmas Eve, but No Milk!

What a rubbish store this has become..

Perhaps I need to qualify this...

They did have dried milk, 'lots' of the more expensive milk available and a few 6 pint containers of the stuff that us peasants buy and that weigh getting on for 7 pounds each!

Apparently there was a note saying something like the 'lorry has broken down'. Yeah, and maybe they just wanted to get rid of the alternative expensive stock.

Ron, I think its time you switched to another supermarket. That is totally out of order for Christmas Eve. ASDA certainly ain't what it used to be.

Had a call from Asda Head Office today. Full of apologies of course, investigating the matter and will get back to me again.

Re the Formal Complaint - it was suggested the member of staff in question will be 're-trained'.

I will let you know the outcome of course, but the damage is done.

I'm very surprised that they got back to you Ron. I didn't think they would.

I would have thought a store as big as ASDA would have some milk in stock "out the back" James.

Sounds more like it than blaming the poor delivery driver.

I had to have blue milk today- well the milk is actually white but had a blue label instead of green. There was plenty of the usual green milk but I would have had to have an American refrigerater as they would not have fitted in our one.

It continues it seems.

A mate told me yesterday that Asda Wheatley, 'super' Store didn't have a single Beef joint in the place! He even asked a member of staff who ventured into the warehouse to see if they could find some.

What sort of supermarket is that?

Sounds like you've got the worst ASDA in the country Ron. That is hard to believe.
