Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 18:46 on 31st January 2015 That is what I use to like about the old JCPenny store merchandise, I could buy an Area room acrylic fiber brown fluffy carpet, I cut to size in two strips and laid it in my downstairs bathroom, it looked seamless.. it could be picked up and machiine washed and dried. Our bathroom downstairs has an jauccuzi tub in it...and I bought an matching carpet with rubber on the backing for in front of the tub that was smaller...and it was the rug I laid down for the kids to take baths down there, helped with the water problem on the floor... an little soda in the water, they liked the bubbles it looked like it made and they came out with super soft skin...not suppose to use "soap" you know in jacuzzi's. Anyway, when they disconintued the carpets, as I use to re-buy the bigger one every say 3 years, I stopped going there...the store is half way across town now. The fluffiness of the carpet with my glass mirrors and silk plants gave the bathroom an very luxuerious look to it also. The tile and/or regular flooring is cold on your feet also. So we don' t take baths down there to much any more. Besides it's now just as easy to go to the health gym everyday and into the big hot tubs...let them clean things up afterward and keep the tub disinfected. WE also have hot springs in this area that are mineralized and good for bathing in also. Bonneville Resort, and Carson ( Washington) Resort, Warm Springs Resort, beside the numerous smaller ones..like "Bagby" are very close and within easy driving distance. They make excellent "gift certificates" for those with any kind of ailments. Good morning everyone, kind of checking things out until time to go pick up my sister. Hubby went out to my son's house to see if they could find the oil leak in his pickup...that needs replaced...and get it stopped again. I'll try to work on that this entire year...as I'm thinking it's not going to last to much longer. We have to also have something that will pull our boat in the summertime...haul stuff for the Scouts and with thier fun raisers....and move furniture around...and I'd like to get the use of my camper back again. My son says to get rid of it, and him an his friend helped to destory it an couple years back..when he thought he'd like to make it into an camper that could house the little kid's ATV's....the back was never changed out into an patio door. They got about as far as taking out the bathroom and left it...when I went back and brought it to my house again. I'd like to make the entire bathroom waterproof and put an shower in it over an sit down toliet.commode...One where the water can be sun/solar heated...drained out the side of the camper in it's own water container and not the plumbing for the holding tank. Lots of little thiings to do now to repair it. It was always good for an weekend runner for fishing and camping. With so many people now coming up missing these days in the parks, under the best of conditions...I'd like something an little safer then an tent if it were just the two of us. No one seems to come up missing if your with an crowd of people. But anyway...I guess I should think about going to pick up sister..at least give her an call. So talk later on. |
