Picking the Pears and they are absolutely scrumptious. A few days and they turn yellow ish and are as sweet as you could wish for.

Had some off a neighbour last week ok too.

Another neighbour has a few apple trees 4 bakers 2 eaters and guess what --they all go in the bin -what a shame that is.Frown

Some have no idea how to store them James so in the bin they go.

Years ago we saved/stored enough apples virtually until the new season was upon us.

A couple of years ago they filled two bins with "bakers" and left them ther for over a year the stench was terrible --all fermented Smile
