Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 07:54 on 22nd November 2015 Ok, might make the season an bit more cheerier...but if they are as busy as I'm about to get, they most likely won't have the time....I came in checking out the weather...my ankle is hurting like crazy tonight..last time I saw the doctor we talked about this..he says we all should be wearing compression stockings for socks over winter...he said everytime you walk, it's like getting extra excerise walking...and it helps keep down the aches and pains of winter weather.Tonight's low will hover around the freezing line and it will stay like but for one day mid-week when showers come in and I have this thing about being ready for winter this year...as if it might be cold and snowy possibly. We took out our lawn Christmas decorations today and straighen up the shed also in anwind that was so chilly ot meI had an scarf over my head in clear and sunny day time. I di dget an good fireplace though crackling away tonight as I watched this family of 5 buying an tiny home in Dublin, Ireland. She wanted teh least expenisve tiniest place they looked at and I could read her mind and what she was thinking.,.the place went from 6 feet when you entered it to10 feet in the back...it had an loft in it..with an skylight in the roof...and an big huge backyard enclosed patio area...and was $200,000 US dollars....with 11-1/2 foot celing. I know what she had in mind...and they said it at the end of the show...this 20 by 25 foot patio...will be added to the house in about 5 years from now...when her wee little kids will need the room. Double story...bedrooms upstairs and nw livingroom downstairs off the kitchen. She was an wise lady. He was willing to go to an nicer house for $280,000 and 50,000of that over thier budget...and no room to build on to the place. Tiny Nation Home Dec 5th is going to show people how to decorate them for Christmas. I put an spiral white lighted Chrismas tree on my balcony off my bedroom an couple days ago...then laid the fully expanded patio shade over it and we tied the tree down also. No decorating with them..very good for outisde decor. Easy up and easy down and weathe proof also. Anyway I just took and strong asprin and I'll go brush my teeth with sensitve toothpaste and hope the pain goes away here soon. Tomarrow night I start things off by taking out the turkey...and I've no idea how I'll fit in Dee Dee's knew surgery and seeing her with the Grand final of Dancing with the stars...but if she's at the hospital overnight...might help with an short visit and going back the next day..maybe she will be feeling better by then also. But then comes the pies, and picking up my sister the next day....and that day starting the homemade rolls and putting the roast beef in an slow cooker. I generally cook enough to last four days and everyone can help themselves for much of that time. While the parents do the "Black Friday" sales....most the night....and then come home an sleep the next day. So plan on the entire week being "busy"...so I'll be sure an come in an take an break long enough to have some tea and chit chat. Looking forard to some Christmas music.Talk later on.... |

I wouldn't go anywhere near the Company's offering deals like this and would expect to get the same product online somewhere or another. Hi to all POEsters... |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 00:29 on 23rd November 2015 Oh, has it ever been cold today...it hovered near freezing most of last night. I honestly can't think of anything the kids would need this year on Black Friday unless they are buying for her family maybe. We gave them two big area carpets and an electric fireplace, and an Food procesor....and really good one...so if she wants to cann food she can have at it. They will each get $100 also, as well as my granddaughter for blue jeans and clothing after Christmas Sales...my grandson's each got three in one coats equalled sissy's $100... metal detectors each, all got some clothing...we all got new bed linens in an Christmas theme with new furry bed throw covers for the top of thier beds. Hubby got an new leather chair for in front of his computer downstairs..besides bedding, but figure we will go somewhere for his birthday also..night before New Year's Eve.......Plus I'm reserving an movie ticket for everyone. Maybe an laser light show also. The family outting is the weekend over at the coast this year. I bought me an host of things I wanted also...or needed from an new slow cooker to an new hand mixer...to an new cd player for my old tapes and cd's...to my made over garage into craft room for my big gift...just an little bit of odds and ends through out the season also. So I'm good fro Christmas...and this way I know I'll like what I get/have.Personally I'll be glad when they can get out of level 23 on the kiddies game I'm playing also. They added Spider Solitare on my tablet the other day for me as well. This weekend hubby got the candy canes out front set up to curve around the flower beds...with the rest waiting until after Thanksgiving dinner. Town lights their tree come next Saturday...and I think we are off for the season failry well. New kitty cat in their household....very cute little thing too! I was going to take out the turkey otnight but might wait until the morning..,..my finishing off the shopping netted me one free turkey and three cases of free sprite. Got lots of new things for after the Holidays also to do. I also have an book to be reading. my how time flies by these days. But for now, it's cold outside baby...cold!...bundle up...talk later on..new week starting. |

So I can see the marvel of lighting going on these days. Actually I thought the Queen did pretty during her Jubilee celebration...I know I spelled that incorrectly...long day I guess. To tired to think any more. Talk later on.
