Some really great photos have been uploaded recently by lots of different people. Thanks to all for sharing them. Here is two that came in today by Roy Jackson.

This first is of a Great Spotted Woodpecker. A fantastic looking bird captured brilliantly by Roy in this shot he took at Wallington Hall, Northumberland:

Kingsbury graveyard, Warwickshire

I've managed to find a little time to look at some of the brilliant pictures on POE, this picture of Kingsbury graveyard by Jason Swift is a work of genius. The lighting is fabulous, this picture has real atmosphere.

Shillingstone in Dorset

Graham Rains took this amazing picture of Shillingstone, Dorset and I'm so glad he did! It's beautifully composed and if you look at the whole picture, the clouds and the land just follow the same lines.
