LOL, Ray.  Laughing  If it was a little wider it  could be a boogie board.

Maria,

Skate-boarding in the Bronze age could not be any more hazardous than motorcycling through France could it?

One thing in common though; both the Bronze age skate-boarder and I wear helmets, we are aware of the hazards. lol

Hi Ray:  It's a style of surfing, that uses a short board that the surfer rides by belly flopping on to it and riding the wave on his stomach.  It's very popular over here, especially among younger kids.  I'm surprised you didn't know that Ray, being from Cornwall and all.  Smile

Wikipedia explains it better and helps mitigate carpal tunnel:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boogie_board

Thank you for the explanation Ruth,

I left Cornwall light years ago, apart from visiting 'rellies' regularly, to seek fame and fortune elsewhere. ... I am still seeking, but my expectations are more realistic now. As for the surfing scene. I wouldn't know a 'Hang Ten' from a 'Give us five' or 'What is that One?' lol

Regarding the 'Carpal Tunnel' I recently went through the Dartford Tunnel, that is similar????Smile

It seems there are more popular sports in Cornwall. Denzill seems well up on the sporting scene there. Why don't you ask him? lol

Ray.
