And a Paul B as opposed to Paul H (Paul Hilton!). Hey this is getting difficult, perhaps we need to start numbering people!!

Hello Jack, As a new member of POE and very new to forums I'm not sure that I'm doing things correctly but I have been facinated reading about your venture. I am at present planning a trip to N Yorks for the first two weeks of April and looking through a list of waterfalls in Yorkshire I found Falling Foss but it looked a bit inacessable for someone who has fairly recently had a hip replacement. Tell me, will you be open for the time of my visit and is parking available? I can cope with short walks and I know my other half and our two friends would love a cream tea at any time of day!

I believe it's Charismatic, Rick, but I like your spelling as well.  No points taken off!  I Constantly Contemplate a Cozy Country Cottage -- Charasmatic/Charismatic or otherwise!

Would imagine they will be open

The Tea rooms are easily acessable and there are car parking spaces

The waterfall will not be acessable to you, but it is right next to the Tea rooms with a viewing area high up so you can look down on it, well worth a visit

Hope this helps

Pete

I am now the proud owner of Midge Hall and feel very privileged to be the custodian of this magical place. My wife and I hope to recreate the Tea Garden and would very much like to see any pictures when it was owned by Mr and Mrs Robinson and to hear from anyone who has memories of visiting the tea rooms

Glenn Marshall has just completed a series of paintings for an exhibition at the Treasurer's House York. One of the paintings included in the exhibition is  "Midge Hall by Moonlight"The Exhibition runs 4th April to 30th April. It is well worth a visit to see this painting of this beautiful building .
