They are lovely boys, great picture and I love the name Isaac - I was going to have that name for Solomon but my friend beat me to it!

Thanks for picking my photos Diana, Krissy and Sue! Krissy I don't know what flower it is - it grows on a shrub. I'll have to ask my Mom!

Sue yes the trees have started to turn - it was taken Saturday so it's hot off the press! It was a glorious day and a lovely place.

Thanks Bill - I'm glad you said a comma butterfly - I wasn't sure.

They're great pics, Sue.  Thanks for the info on Isaac's tree.  300 years old - that's amazing.  We saw a yew tree at Skipton Castle that was planted in 1659.

Do you live in Joshua tree country, Sue?  The higher elevation desert here has Joshua trees - between here and Las Vegas.  I love them!!

Here are a couple of pics:  http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/ff328/ruthyg_photos/Joshua%20tree/

They sort of are, Wolf.  There's a whole forest of them in that country where I took those pics.

No Joshua trees this far north Ruth. Odd looking things aren't they.
