I know the folks who live here, and this little cottage is situated in THE most perfect spot. I've often dreamt of living here (or in the house on the other side of the lane).

I'm not blowing my own trumpet by posting this picture, I'm posting it because I think it's a wonderful shot of a tree that survived a huge lightening strike to live for many, many years.

I love trees like this Sue. They have such a majesty about them and all credit due to this one - it survived to grow again! It's a great shot Sue.
