English spellings / pronunciation must give non English speakers nightmares. Cholmondeley Castle is a great place to chill out on a warm afternoon. Then, of course there is Leeds Castle, nowhere near Leeds. At least the word sounds like its spelling.I'm off to Castleford today and as far as I know there is no castle. |
