I agree with you, Phil. I love the look of the men on horseback and the hounds. My understanding is that they no longer use real foxes. Is that true?

Apparently Diana the hunt follow a false trail, as opposed to chasing a live fox. That is for now anyhow, because its reckoned that if the Tory Party win the next General Election which is quite likely, then they would reverse any decision by Labour and the fox is once again on the menu. I'm not for it or against it, but do not think it right that a pack of dogs tear the fox apart.....literally! I think the fox should be shot in a humane manner.

Well as you know I have a great love of all animals and the thought of one animal being torn apart by another for the sport of humans makes me want to vomit.

I'd just as soon tie a rope of sausages around a man's neck, set him on the run with a one minute head, and then set a pack of hungry feral dogs on his trail.

Why thank you, Phil. Yes, I love N.Yks too, but I had the good fortune this past summer to be able to visit the southwest, and it was very English.  You might want to get ready for the flak.  Wink

And thank you too, Stephanie.  I hadn't noticed that you had posted one of mine too.  xx
