I would suspect the number of visitors on the forum here who speak Africaans must be quite limited? Smile

I am ashamed to say that also includes me Paul, to a large degree, and have to admit that I looked a couple of the words up in my dictionary. Embarassed Languages are not my strong point!! Frown

But thank you for comment about my tours   Smile

South Africaans looks a lot like Dutch so for me it is not so difficult to read.

Translated: Keep going on doing the good work. I'm very pleased to look at them.

Thank you Cathy for support the Dutch team. I'm supporting England this afternoon when the must beat our neighbours (Germany).

Afrikaans (correct spelling, lol) is said to be like baby Dutch with lots of other languages mixed in.

I actually found it easier to read notices in Belgium than those in Netherlands with my limited knowledge of Afrikaans.

By the way England & Germany are playing tomorrow, also Argentina vs Mexico.

Today it is USA vs Ghana & Uruguay vs Korea

Ron's post about Cornish Pasties put me in mind of a picture I had seen on POE, but I can't find it (yet).

I came across this thread though, and thought I'd post a couple of my food pictures.

Oh how I LOVE LOVE LOVE good food.
