When working on jpeg images always create a 'copy' in the pallette box and do your work on this. That way you can always cancel the task and still have your original jpeg. In the pallette box simply drag the image down to the bottom set of icons and drop it into the one that seems to have a corner folded over. This will create a copy for you to work on. You can have as many as you want for different tasks, burn, dodge, clone, etc. Sounds complicated but is very simple and much easier to undo mistakes....simply cancel the offending copy, create a new one and start the particular task over again. |
