Your avatar picture looks just fine Patrick. Thanks for the link John, I think if we all bought every useful bit of kit we'd all need a bigger bag I don't think I would have bought the filters myself yet, but being as they were a gift I shall certainly have a go with them, there's nothing lost if the pictures don't work out, trial and error, it's not like I'm paying for film developing - thankfully. I shall try them out when we go to Devon/Cornwall next weekend. |

I'm hoping to try the filters out whilst walking up and down the Camel Estaury (no camels though ) it's a good place to grab shots of the sky, beach and sea. |

Must have a check back as I have only posted one pic but did have quite a few there. As for bags , I am still managing with the one I got with the 550D and the one I use when I take out the FZ38 And the little one with my wallet and the TZ25. Not greedy really |

I didn't half waste money way back. Need to find an adaptor that fits one of my lenses. Certainly won't be the Sigma 24-70 f2.8, that has a massive 82mm filter thread. As to bags again got a few. Billingham 335 which must be best part of 35 years old and still going strong, Vanguard Golf that I won in a Practical Photography crossword comp 20+ years ago, Tenba something again probably 35 or more years old that holds all sorts of historical c**p that I won't throw away. Recently purchased a Hama backpack for the amazing sum of under £30. The Billingham cost me abit more than that 35 years ago, to replace it now probably in excess of £250!! Needless to say .. don't think I shall be doing that!!! Forgot a little Lowepro bag that i got for the Olympus 420 outfit some years ago that now holds battery charges and remote releases etc. The one I left in the cottage a couple of years ago and the agents posted it back to me on the promise of a cheque in the post for postage. Very trusting really Edited by: Dave John at:14th April 2015 22:55 |

And an old soft binocular case that comes in handy just for a couple of lenses if on a short stroll such as down to the pier etc |

Swiss Army knife, small binoculars, pens, notebooks, iPod, phone etc. Thanks for the Donkey Sanctuary pic number Vince Edited by: rustyruth at:14th April 2015 23:23 |
