Yes, no doubt about that Paul. Mr T was years ahead of his time. He would not be a reviled highwayman today, but a 'respected' government minister.

Even though you posted this statement nearly a year ago, Ray, it seems to be timely to bring it up about now, doesn't it?

On the topic of English villages, I really like Helmsley in North Yorkshire.

Hi Ray:  GREAT to see you!  I didn't know who Old Moore was so I googled it, and yes, very fitting.  Quite the prophet you are.

It's the same everywhere, I'm afraid, Ray.

Any cool little English villages in your neck of the woods?

Yes. I live in the village of Mawsley, Northamptonshire. It is a new village, (Established about 7 years ago,)but it has a nice community spirit and is a nice place to live.

You need to post more pictures of it.  It sounds lovely.  I didn't think there were any villages in England that are that new.

I wouldn't know, Diana.  I think England has certain desinations for village, town, city, etc.  But I don't know what criteria they use - population or what have you?  Maybe if Paul Hilton comes around, he'll know.
