We have decided that we would like to go back to Cornwall where we were evacuated during the last war. We would like info about accomodation & transportation. We are interested in the area around The Lizard, Rinsey Cove etc. If anyone has info about evacuees there we would be very interested in hearing from you. Thanks, Rita |

Book your accommodation securely online through this website and you will get it cheaper than going to the hotel. Here is the link to get you going, and good luck with your trip: http://www.picturesofengland.com/accommodation/ POE is also a great resource for planning ahead. |

If you type the name of any place you wish to visit into the search box on the top left of the page, lots of information, pictures and accommodation options will show up. I am sure you will enjoy looking at all the lovely places Cornwall has to offer the visitor. |

I'm surprised to see that my enquiry was May '11. Our trip will be in May '12 --- a year later. We will be in Cornwall & Cumbria where we will stay with our other war-time family. |
