Inserting Images Into Posts

This tool has been changed to prevent images from outside sources being posted by anyone who signs up for an account. It now only allows images to be posted that can be found on the PicturesOfEngland.com domain. Please note: This tool does not allow you to upload an image to the site. It is used for including images that have already been uploaded and approved.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Get the image ID
The image ID is found along with every picture on the site. It appears in the bottom right-hand corner of the information box directly below any picture (the box containing the image title and description etc).
Either highlight and 'copy' the ID number using your mouse, or simply write it down.

2. Inserting the image into your post
Click the 'Insert/edit image' button  found on the forum toolbar to the left of the smiley face.
When the pop-up box appears, you need to type in the Image ID number. You'll then automatically be shown a preview so you can see if it's the correct image or not.
Now simply click 'Insert' and the image should appear in your post.

Tip - If you copy&paste the ID into the insert image popup box, you'll need to delete and retype the last digit to make the image appear. Sorry about this. It's a little bug that we'll get fixed very soon.
