It must be around 10 years that Chris & Sarah have given to establishing and running this fabulous website and, as far as I know, this is the first time they have asked directly for our help.

Hello Chris, Sarah and everyone. I have only been a member of this fantastic site for a few months and already would hate to see it's demise. Wish I had found it years ago. Stumbled across it while Google imaging for inspiration. Probably one of the best Google's I ever did. Had a very quick!!! run through the members list last night and counted about 10 gold stars, plus a few promises on the forum. I sincerely hope that others will follow very soon. It is very clear that a lot of members like to submit images with many looking in daily to enjoy the work of others, give praise to the images, and hopefully gain inspiration, which of course is the aim of the site as I see it. 

Now this is just a thought but have you have considered approaching any of the bigger Photo retailers ie: Jacobs, Jessops, Park Cameras etc. for a sponsorship deal The worst they can say is no thankyou, but equally could be interested in being involved in such a huge community (even if it means a banner advert of some description on the website). Who knows might even be able to negotiate a discount system of some sort for POE members. Anyway it is just a thought....

So with the greatest respect to all COME ON FELLOW POE MEMBERS YOU DON'T NEED TO DIG DEEP AS I'M SURE CHRIS and SARAH WILL BE MOST APPRECIATIVE OF WHATEVER YOU CAN AFFORD

I am sure that no one belongs to a "Club" that doesn't require either time or money or both from them, as expenses are always being generated just to keep it going.

I think Chris & Sarah have actually asked for so little from us that it would not be beyond the scope of any POE members, and if it is it could be split into 2 or 3 payments.

So lets get this back to the top of the list ! !

Just made my  membership donation and only too pleased to do so, POE has given me so much pleasure not to mention support.

I feel certain that many existing members who don't use the forums remain in ignorance of the new membership offer so how about a really attention grabbing flash on the home page or even better an email to all members.

ONLY WE CAN KEEP POE ALIVE !!
