Hi Pamela- your great grandfather Alfred and my great grandmother Annie were sister and brother. Annie's son Albert, my grandfather, emigrated to Canada. There was another brother of Alfred and Annie, Pryce, who also emigrated to Canada and I am in touch with a descendent. Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you too Andy. How exciting. Alfred's daughter Lily, my grandmother, was a strong woman, interested in politics, cooking, knitting, embroidery, crochet and running the local pensioners club. She lived from 1895 to 1997 in NSW Australia.

I wonder if any of the family are left in Welshpool!
