The Marathon Bar? Still running!! Yes I like nickers, and Marmite well like the advertisement says, you either love it or you hate it. I love it! Somebody said in a post just recently, can't remember who it was, that they were having to pay some $30 or more!! Wow, we could do a roaring trade there you know!

I'm sure you do like nickers, Ron, but I'm not sure we want to know.

I pay $27.00 for a jar of Marmite (shame on you Ron, for not remembering it was ME). Usually i try and bring home a few jars when I come over.

I just paid $27.00 for a bournville Easter Egg, and $34.00 fort wo Cadbury's Button Easter Eggs for the boys. I haven't bought Easter Eggs for a long time because the price is ridiculous, but having just sold a house, I felt a little flush .

Yes, very jealous! It makes me wonder why I spent so much on these eggs     .

They are so pr icy because they are imported from England, so once you pay import tax, and the mark up for the store, well you end up being out of pocket. I think this is the last time I'm going to do it though.
