Some time for a proper introduction at last :)

My name is Maria Grazia and I'm from Milan. I am a software developer and actually the funny way I came across this site is thank to the search for a PHP programmer displayed on the homepage till some time ago.  Definitely a lucky combination of keywords for me ! :).

I find this forum particularly interesting because that's information and opinions coming straight from the people and not 'filtered' by papers articles or tv programmes.

At the same time I'm a bit puzzled too as, at a quick glance, I think I am the only non English-speaking in the whole forum  (and I'm sure that's got to have something to do with the fact that it took me 3 days to realize that Ron and Peter do not actually argue lol)  but I trust you could put up with my English for a while :).

May I be the first to  you to our wonderful forum, Maria.

I hope you enjoy all the pictures.

We do have a few others where English isn't there first language, so you won't be alone, one of them being Luc and Sabien from  Belgium.

We do tease each other allot here, and if you ever feel uncomfortable with any response be sure to tell POE, and he can sort us out.

Looking forward to getting to know you.

Reading this may lead people to think that English isn't my first language either.

Dear oh dear, I didn't express myself well here at all.

I meant to say that two of our members are Luc and Sabien.

Unlike Ron and his perfect posts, I eagerly await the edit & delete button that POE has promised.

Hi Maria, pleased to meet you at last.Welcome again to the site. You are not the only one who's second language is English. My first language is "Double Dutch". Means rubbish by the way. Ron and I are only playing with the insults. There is no animosity or ill feelings at all, in fact we have become freinds since he insulted me the first time. He he he.

Hi Maria and a big warm welcome to the site Smile

It's interesting to hear you're a software developer. What languages do you specialise in? POE is predominantly PHP / MySQL. Its always nice to know someone who specializes in those fields, and especially someone who enjoys the site. Please feel free to drop us an email anytime.

Welcome to the best website and forum on the net Maria. Just sorry that I am so far down the list of members to WELCOME YOU! As suggested above my English is always perfect, so no spelling mistakes from me! (I really am perfect). There are however lots of spelling mistakes from a certain male who talks 'Double Dutch'. See how he spells friends for example....freinds. Nothing less than Peter the pillock!!
