I tend to read Sci Fi books when I have the time. I've often wondered when I've gone on my travels to other countires why people lay on sun beds or sit around reading?? There's so much to see and you may never get there again so why sit and read?

And it must work out cheaper? |

Deborah, I agree with Lyn about hiring a car. Also, if you get Ron Brind's book "A Guide to The C.S. Lewis Tours in Oxford" you will be all set with a wonderful narative about Lewis and a driving guide to get you about. I wish the book had been publised when I was in Oxford. I still would have taken Ron's tour (not to be missed) but I may have hired a car and gone back to spend more time at various places. Good luck and enjoy! |

I will also try the Amazon.com link and see what happens. Click on http://www.amazon.com/Guide-C-Lewis-Tour-Oxford/dp/1857566262/ref=sr_1_1/105-3475974-9130850?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1184705679&sr=8-1 And Peter, yes you are right it was the Auken Company! Thinks.... there's no way he's ever going to lose his nickname (Peter the Pillock for those who didn't know - PTP). |
