It's wonderful to have you join us, and it sounds like you are going to fit into this forum like a hand in a glove. I also found this site by googling pictures of England, and I couldn't believe how wonderful it was. Well I have to tell you that I lived in London, Ontario for four months back in 1980. So I was excited to hear that you are from there. I also lived in Toronto, Oshawa and Niagara Falls as I was there a total of 18 months. Well I hope you have read a few of the threads here, so that you can familiarize yourself with our wild sense of humor. Looking forward to your pictures and your input. |

There are some stunning works within these pixels and a great sense of pride in this much-maligned little island. Great to have you with us! |

I've only been to Canada once to see the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo two summers ago. It was great but I didn't get to spend nearly enough time there. I hope you enjoy the site and the forum |

(It's only taken me 9 years!!) So I'm pining for jolly old. I do wish I had taken the timestamp off, it isn't even the right year! Oh well, I may fiddle with them in Photo Impact before i post them. In the mean time, I have my other "north" trip I can post. Sue: 1980, I was just heading out on my own that year :) I'm glad you rememebr London, we tend to get overlooked, being so close to the centre of the universe that is Toronto..(hehe just kidding!) Peter: You can welcome me as many times as you wish, I'm not going anywhere ;) Moribundian: "this much-maligned little island" ! No! Who would Dare say such a thing! Hmph! and what do they know anyway!? Great to be here! Lyn, you're right, hit the button twice, or something.., maybe POE can delete it? Diana, I've never been "down East" but I would love to go.(someday!) |

I was a young pup then too, 21 I think. My friend and I rented a basement with a wonderful old couple from Latvia or Estonia, can't remember which. Good memories!
