The relationship with Mrs T has crumbled to dust.You will get over it in time. My banjo is a 5 stringer too. did you ever get the hang of 'flailing' a la blue grass style. It is quite a difficult instrument with different tuning and chord shapes to the guitar isn't it? It is also more difficult to hold it. I find the neck drops if you don't support it properly.
