We have the Doves and the Hawks in serried ranks, facing each other with unsheathed opinions at the ready. I do not often join in with aligning myself. I prefer to sit back and read these posts with interest, but I would like to make a few comments here if I may. Supposing Yassar is 'genuine' ? He has not actually said anything offensive to anyone as far as I can read.Other members of POE have conversed with him and he has obviously generated some interest and entertainment for them. If this person is really who he claims to be, I can imagine he feels quite hurt and excluded at this moment in time. On the other hand; If Yassar is involved on some sort of 'wind up' Well, he has suceeded, probably beyond his wildest expectations. He has divided the camp, and is rubbing his hands with glee. If we are dealing with an attention seeking individual here, surely the most effective way to 'silence' him, is to ignore him, rather than let both barrels off in his direction. Finally, we can, all of us; cause offence to others, wittingly or unwittingly, and I always thought that one of the characteristics of being 'British' was to be considerate, even-handed, and not judgemental, until you have evidence to prove otherwise. My God, this is Ray being serious! Ray |

If so I will forgive you . I am not in favor of deception of any kind, even in jest and would like to think that it has run it's course. Just my humble opinion. |
