I remember my mother telling me, "I hope you have a kid just like you when you grow up!" She would get so frustrated with me. My dad always had a way of straightening us out. He would throw us in the pool or chase us with the hose. I remember one time my little sister was throwing a temper tantrum. She was in her robe and big pink fuzzy slippers. He picked her up and threw her in the pool! Otherwise all he had to do was give us "The Look!" When you saw that look you knew you were in trouble. You straightened up right away! |

OK, I am 50 this year, and to tell the truth, I'm quote excited about it. I used to think 50 was old, but of course, I don't any more. I have two boys 17 and 19, really good boys too. They are still at home, one at school, one saving for college. They love their grandma, sadly the other grandparents are gone. My mum had alzheimer's for eight years before her demise, sad, sad way for a good woman to go. Peter, a great-granddad , I didn't know that. Someone must have started young, |

I am just lucky enough to have a baby face and my grandmother's genes. Her hair never really got completely gray. I am just gray at the temples and scattered throughout. The Scottish red highlights hide it all! When I turn 50 I want a huge party. I still don't feel 48, well the body does but not the soul! Do your boys want to meet a 16 year old girl? She is not really into boys! Just music, anime & Criss Angel (Yuck) although he is good at what he does. |

Long story short we had to pull her out of school after eighth grade because she has Crohn's Disease. It was so bad she missed half the year. The school passed her anyway. After trying homeschool and failing she got special permission to take college classes at the local community college. She started last year. She just registered to take the GED exam and is signed up for the Fall classes. She wants to become a voice actress and have a career in computer graphics as a back up. |

The doctors thinks it was caused by dust or chemical inhalation. I get about fairly well, but have to carry my nebuliser with me all the time. I just get out of breath very quick. I still go off by myself once a year either camping or hire a caravan. Cant walk up those Welsh mountains anymore though. So please dont feel sorry for me, I get about and enjoy myself albeit with a few limitations. |

You burn up so much energy just trying to breath that you lose weight no problems. I now weigh 8st 2lb. Hows that for diet? I think I will take up impersonator for my next job. I can impersonate a stick insect real easy. He he he. |

Welcome Catherine! As you can see we are all a bit nuts but fairly harmless. |
