My name is Mark White, I'm in the software business and a sometimes web designer. I stumbled across the POE site while researching the English countryside. I live in Memphis (please no Elvis jokes) and have surfed around enough of the site to realize what a terrific resource it is. I'll be around, write/comment when you can.

Welcome mark, my maiden name was "White"..and yes, I have roots there in Tennessee from the past, I did research work in genealogy out of Nashville area one time in an "jail"...yep, the Historical Libary was an old made over jail. I one time brought back an small pine tree from "Lookout Mountain" and do I ever know why they call it that, from the electrical storms in the area in summertime. The last time we got caught in an really bad one, my hubby pulled over to the first motel he could find, and we woke up the next morning next to an "fireworks" factory...hum. We kind of joke about now. Such gorgeous photo's of England here, they give me "peace" in my life/soul...later.
