Welcome from me too John; glad you made it! I'm sure you won't regret being part of the POE family here in the forum.....the very best forum and website on the net! Have a look around the website, you will be truly amazed at what you can find, and then there's Peter.....don't worry too much about him he's barking! We love the banter on this family friendly site as you will soon see! Anyway....enjoy it mate!

By the way, I caught a 10 pound Perch once but I was unable to weigh it in because it slipped down the bank and back into the river....but I caught it, honest!!

Actually, I haven't seen Peter lately, hope he's alright.

Hello John, and welcome, come join us in our merriment in the other threads also..I had an co-worker over here one time named Pat Humphries, her two boys an mine were playing football around the same time, but different High Schools, her's was getting rather famous in his endeavors in our area...they were a couple years ahead of my son.  I really liked Pat, she was an nice and freindly person to know back then, and still is probalby around these parts somewhere, I was her "back-up" when she was gone for any reason at work...doing the Humphries name well over here.
