No we don't have Halloween in Russia. But at schools and at universities where English is learned they usually have some plays staged related to the holiday.

Yes, we have Halloween, Ruth. I would say that's a relatively new business, 20 years or so, and it's grown popular over the years.

By holiday, do you mean a day off work, Lyn?  If that's what you mean, then no, it's not an "official" holiday here, but just an optional celebration.  We have a holiday lunch at work and people dress up and make their creepiest desserts, like cat litter cake.  or dirt cake.  lol
