I'm 58 and work as a Marketing Assistant. I enjoy photography and, although I like to go on holiday to other countries, I love to come back to Good Old Blighty - you can't beat the English countryside.......when the weather's good of course! Lyn, Gilbert White was a Clergyman and Naturalist in the 18th century who wrote, what I believe to be a famous book, entitled "The Natural History of Selborne." There's a stained glass window in the church in Selborne showing St Francis of Assis with all the birds mentioned in the book. I've got a picture of it somewhere. Once again, thank you to everybody who's commented - I enjoy looking around this site, there are some stunning scenes!
