Thanks Stephanie. It was very cold there on the beach. "Another Place" is a great area of the beach right at end of the Liverpool Dock system heading in the direction of Southport. The figures were under threat for a while as they might well have all been shipped away but, thank goodness the chaps now will stay there through summers and winters for years to come, some being submerged by the incoming tides. I used my Nikon D70 and must have taken 50 shots as the light changed.

Thanks Mick, Ruth & Wolf. The site is very entertaining and viewing other people's pictures is most inspiring. 2009 is almost here. 2008 has been a great year despite a dreadful summer but I tend to take better pictures in the winter months for some reason.
