Good Evening, I am so happy to have found this site, so many happy memories from Cornwall and England.  I am in the US Navy and was stationed at St Mawgan in Cornwall.  I lived in a beautiful village, Crantock from 2003 -2005, not nearly long enough.  My beautiful granddaughter was born there in 2004, I intend to bring her back to see her birthplace.  I think that while I love my country, I was the most happiest there, so much beauty, the people are kind, welcoming and warm.

Welcome to POE, Donna!  You're in good company here; much love of England among the lovely people who regularly populate this site.  I love in Manassas, VA and have visited England twice and feel as if it is truly home, at least in my heart.  I've not yet been to Cornwall but it's on my "to do" list, I can assure you!  Such a beautiful area.

Many welcomes Donna.

So very happy that you have been blessed with the opportunity to live in England, and Cornwall to boot.

May you spend many happy hours touring England via the pictures here on POE (Pictures of England). And hopefully visiting with us here on the forums.

Barbara, Thank you for the note.  I can tell you that you won't be sorry to visit Cornwall, just absolutely stunning. Of the many places I have been stationed, that was the place where I truly felt it was meant to be home.  I am going to go back, but if I could ever live there forever I would.  Donna
