Just thought I would introduce myself.  I live in a leafy village about 7 miles east of Chester, which is a lovely part of the world.

I am married and have 2 grown up children a daughter who is married and a son who has just gone to work in South Korea.

I lived in Cumbria during my childhood and have really enjoyed the pictures of Walney and Millom, as well as the Lakes.

I have lots of questions regarding taking photos and getting them uploaded.

Cool

Hi Karen

I love your photos of the esturary.  I have been to Millom but that was about 10 years ago now.  We stayed in a friends cottage at Haverigg for a week, it was really lovely.  My mother lives at North end of Walney, and we can see Black Combe with Millom in the foreground.  On a sunny day the views are stunning.  It's funny how you dont appreciate a place when you live there!  I do miss the sea.
