Hi Celt and welcome!  I'm half Irish myself and will be visiting the old sod next month, as well as your neck of the woods.

Ray, I think you can be an honorary Celt by virtue of the fact that you lived in Cornwall, which I believe is one of the big five Celtic nations.

You are right about Cornwall. also, Celtic people are traditionally fairly dark, and have different characteristics to the fairer haired, blue eyed Anglo saxons.  So I do consider myself a Celt.

Re the 'old sod' give him my regards when you see him!
