Hi, my name is Heather Minol, and I live in Canberra, Australia's capital city. I am originally from Tasmania, which is probably the most like England of any part of Australia. I am 54 years old and have been married to David for nearly 34 years. We have three adult daughters and are both working full time in government jobs.

I have visited the UK twice now, and one of our daughters has been living in the UK for 6 years and has settled and married in Nottingham, so we're sure to be visiting as often as we can. David and I are both descended from English folk and feel a real affinity with the place. I love the English people, the scenery, the history, the traditions, in fact just about everything England has to offer, and want to see much, much more of it!

Pictures of England.com is an amazing service and I am really looking forward to enjoying and learning from both the website and the wonderful people here. Thanks so much for having me!

Heather
