Well met to everyone. I am from Virginia, USA, born and raised, though currently living in Maryland.

Admittedly I am not a photographer, but I am an artist, just a different kind. My specialty is Illustration, free-hand drawing, etc. However I can greatly appreciate wonderful photographs from an artist viewpoint.

I have never been outside the United States, let alone, anywhere in England, but for a while now, I have thought the country to have some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Granted, a photograph is just a mere glimpse into the life of a place but after looking at many of the various pictures on the site, I have really come to realize that places in UK may not be unlike many places here in America. But it seems as though the UK retains enough of its history and traditions to keep on being a very different place then America.

I hope it is okay if I came around, and also come back often to view the wonderful pictures.

Thanks for the warm greets so far. Oh, I had my real name up for a little, which is Rhonda, but swapped to my  for-fun username. And, in case anyone was wondering, Im actually only 34, I just have 42 because it is the "answer to life, the universe, and everything"

Nice to meet you Zebby/Rhonda. I like to draw and paint too, mainly watercolours but sometimes acrylics .... I have relatives in Arlington, Va too.

Again thank you for the all the warm welcomes. To be honest, I have no preference which name. If it would be easier for you to call me Rhonda, then that is perfectly fine. "Zebby" really is only from one of my online games I used to play.

Hi Zebby.  I think that's a very clever name, especially with the lovely avatar.  I will call you whichever name you prefer.  I'm glad you found this site, it's a lot of fun.  I'm in Arizona, formerly from PA.  Welcome and I hope you enjoy yourself here.
