Hi Cherie and welcome.  I know a lot of people from Chicago.  I'm in Arizona and we have a lot of expats from Chicago.  I hope you love it here.  Surf around for a while if you miss England.

Welcome Cherie.

My brother lives in St. Charles (IL) and I frequently visit the Chicago area to visit he and his family and to also do occasional research at the Newberry Library downtown. I think you'll like it here at POE!

Cherie:

I just found out that there was a 4.3 magnitude earthquake this morning centered in Kane County just northwest of Chicago! Has it affected you? Yikes!
